About the author of mylittlebookblog; Lizzy Baldwin

In a nutshell I’m Lizzy (spelt with a y) and I bloody love books. There’s no other way of putting it really. I’m a book worm, book hoarder, book reader, book lover, book blogger, book reviewer; any and all of those fit the bill. In the real world I’m a marketing assistant and I live in Stoke-on-Trent in England. You’ll often find me with my nose stuck in a book waiting for a bus wearing a brightly patterned tea dress with my hair a mess and boots on my feet no matter the weather. Historical fiction is my favourite genre if you’re wondering and I have secret adoration for anything pastel coloured. I speak fluent sarcasm and if you ever need me to do anything for you a packet of malteasers will often suffice.

      The winners were SHERLOCKIANBOOKLOVER with

      1. Doctor Watson.
Many people are surprised I don’t say Holmes, but Sherlock would sit an analyse everything about you and me and probably make us feel really uncomfortable. That’s why I chose Watson- not only would I be able to question him about his adventures with Holmes, but I feel that he’s a gentleman, and having tea with a young lady would mean he would be courteous and chivalrous in his actions and responses. He’s also quite a big father figure in my eyes and would always be caring. I’m a dog person too, so if you were happy to talk to him, I’d go and entertain myself with his bulldog. He’s a doctor, so he’d keep a rather clean dinner table, I find, and would also be on hand if any injuries were to occur. So, after this long winded explanation, the fictional character I would take you to dinner with would be Doctor John H Watson, MD, formerly of the Fifth Northumberland Fusiliers.

I would pick Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend by Matthew Green. It’s a lovely novel about the world of imaginary friends, which runs parallel to our human world. On a desert island, I would definitely need some imaginary friends to keep me company!

All the answers were super brilliant! it was a toughie to pick πŸ™‚ xxxx

      • Mary says:

I really like the books behind it. πŸ™‚ Pink’s my favorite color too! Tho I’ve been being swayed to blues recently. And mint colors. Ohhhh coral is a very pretty color too! But you’re right, there are a lot to choose from.
