Hellllllo readers, hope you’re well and in some need of inspiration possibly? I received this book as part of a bloggers happy mail exchange and it’s the first I’ve *read* out of the number I received. I do love quote books but I don’t have that many of the? This one is really lovely though and I though I would bring you a review today to prove it!

Dr. Joe Tichio, creator of Greatest-Inpsirational-Quotes.com, shares an extraordinary collection of his favorite and most inspirational quotes from around the world and throughout history. The wisdom on these pages will empower and encourage you to live your life to the fullest.

Start each day with a powerful dose of wisdom and inspiration as you are guided to take action, overcome fear, boost your self-esteem, create success, enjoy life, claim your inner strength, and make your dreams come true. Employ your time in improving yourself by other men’s writings, so that you shall gain easily what others have labored hard for. -Socrate

As the book suggests there are 365 quotes that are inspirational and are included to promote happiness, success and a little motivation. We all have those day where life is a little rubbish and we need a pick me up and these are perfect for that. I actually tend to pick this up in the morning – read the ‘days’ quote with my cup of tea and then continue with my day.

The quotes are a real mixture, some are emotional, a little sweet and some are more  political/feminist view. It’s a really good mix and that is definitely good when you’re buying something like this – I’ve bought books similar in the past that end up being quite samey but this avoids that.

In terms of the set up each of the quotes has a number – they’re not in any particular number but it does allow you to have a quote for each day (if you remember or decide to do it that way.) There is also a real mixture of quotes – being a blogger who loves to share quotes, both on their own and as images, I’m always searching for new ones to share and often find myself scrolling through list after list; ’50 of the greatest sentences in literature,’ type posts and yet they all use the same one’s. Here there was a real variety both in length of the quotes and the people who said them.

At the end of the book all of the quotes are linked to a little description as to who the author was and what they’re famous for, any things they’ve done and a link to where you can find more information/website/books that they have published etc. It’s a really sweet touch because some of the quotes I really had no idea who the people behind them were so being able to read more and discover more was a real bonus.

The only main problem if I’m honest was it would have been nice to have some sections to the book so that the quote were collated together in a more structured way. I know the idea is a quote for each day and for that you want a different agenda each day but there was very little cohesion between them. I might be saying thing because I’m a blogger but being able to look for a quote to share with others, I would have liked it a little more structured.

Overall this is a lovely little book full of really inspiring quotes – for someone who would have liked to have made it easier to navigate the book; 365 quotes is a lot to go through if you’re looking for something specific, that might be me using the book in the wrong way!  Overall this is  a really lovely quote book with a very varied number that brought me a lot of happiness reading through it!

The very first quote on here is one I really personally struggle with. Although I usually pride myself on my relationship with my fiancé, I’ve realized that I have a real problem with leaving him without guilt. I’m learning to do things for myself and be my own person. Thanks for sharing!
