I LOVED Gone with the Wind. Only read it because a character in another novel I was reading was obsessed with it & read it over and over again. It made me curious. Have never seen the film, but the book is fab.
I read it years ago but wouldn’t again. It’s well-written, gritty and intelligent but it’s SO long winded! But probably something that everyone should read once.
I love it! But it is pretty heavy and long. If you like authors that do a lot of detail and history, I think you’ll love it. Rhett Butler as a character is reason enough for me!
