Long ago, when I was in my twenties, I had to move. about 2/3 to 3/4 of the boxes moved contained books. The rest contained all my clothes and household items. I had so many books recently, that they threatened to take over the whole house. This is after I gave away two 7 ft. bookcases worth of books to move here! Then someone said to me, “Books are to be read.” I have slowly culled the books down, sending them to charity organizations so others can read those I won’t reread. Now I only have 9 bookcases full plus those lying around. Still, that pile will grow faster than I reduce it.
