book reviews and all things books by Lizzy Baldwin
I love old books. They tell you stories about their use. You can see where the fingerprints touched the pages as they held the book open. You can see how long they lingered on each page by the finger stains. Jack Bowman

Ah, this is such a gorgeous quote! I absolutely love buying secondhand books, because it feels as if they’ve lived another lief before coming to me. Even more than that, I love seeing little notes, or inscriptions – anything that makes it more personal. I think those thing really make a secondhand book so very special to own ^.^
Thank you for commenting! It’s a wonderful book isn’t it, I love the idea that other people have read the pages and taken their own thoughts and ideas from a book it’s wonderful 🙂 x
