Book Tag: Would you rather?

Good evening readers, having a very quiet lazy Sunday evening watching ‘Playing for Keeps,’ starring the rather rugged Gerard Butler. It has a rather awful write-up however, snuggled up on the sofa with a blanket and sipping hot chocolate I thought I would answer my own ‘Book Tag: Would you rather?’ You can find the original post here. Onto the answers.

Read only trilogies or stand alones?

I do read a fair number of trilogies and on the whole I do enjoy them. Being such an avid reader, always looking to find the next author and the next great book I tend to prefer stand alone books.

Read only female or male authors?

Completely honestly, although I will read the name of the author when starting a book it doesn’t often register whether the book is written by a male or female author till when I’m writing the review. However, recently I have read some incredible books by male classic authors so I would have to say male.

Shop at Waterstones or Amazon?

Although I absolutely love going to a book store, running my fingers over the spines and picking them up and putting them down, for the prices, would have to be Amazon.

All books become movies or television shows?

Mmmm, difficult question. I think because I prefer movies to television shows I would have to go with that.

Read 5 pages per day or 5 books per week?

I think it would have to be five books a week because only being able to read five pages a day would be impossible.

Be a professional reviewer or author?

I think although I’m currently thinking about attempting to start writing a little more professionally and have something published I would much rather be a professional reviewer.

Only read your top 20 favorite books over and over or always read new ones that you haven’t read before?

Without thought it would have to be read more books, there are so many more for me to get through and get read. The books I have read will always mean something to me, especially the ones that I have read over and over, but for me, it has to be new books.

Be a librarian or book seller?

I would say a Bookseller you get to see new books coming in and keep up to date with whats going on in the book world

Only read your favorite genre, or every genre except your favorite?

I think I would have to say every genre except your favourite because the genres I read mix and match all the time so I’m sure I wouldn’t miss out.

Only read physical books or eBooks?

I have a terrible confession for this one; my Kindle has been seriously neglected the last year and it’s something I need to change. I used to use it all the time but my charger wasn’t working properly and it took me so long to sort it out that I then couldn’t find my Kindle and so it’s been left a little unloved. However, I choose physical books, every time.

A lovely little Sunday post for you all. I would love to hear you answers, comment below or tweet me @littlebookblog1

I just love your site. The quotes, images, musings, reviews all sing with your personality. Keep up the great writing. Introduced you to my 21 year old who just moved back home from New York and I earned cool points.
