    I have to say that my husband has always read to me in bed. He works away for a great deal of the year but when he’s here seldom is there an evening when he doesn’t read to e for half an hour. It is such a wonderful, beautiful thing that I recommend it to everyone.

    You know you’re right…it was when I was a child. Supposedly my mother read to me, only I don’t remember. What I remember is my father reading through funny papers to me.
