This speaks to me with some many volumes; becoming an ‘adult’ has had an big effect on me. I now am the sole keeper of my own future. Everytime I have a rough day, whether it’s simply missing the bus and the heavens opening whilst I’m wearing suede shoes, or I wake up and have no energy to pull myself out of my bed I repeat the same mantra in my head that ‘I can do this.’ We all have purpose and although sometimes it’s difficult to distinguish from everything else, it is burning deep and bright inside of all of us.
